Our Path Skillz team have been out again working with a new group of young people attending an employability programme at RUTs (Rural and Urban Training Scheme).

Over the past few weeks they have been planning their project and learning about paths. Check out what they wrote about their first few sessions below:

“We are Path Skillz. We are a group made of Ryan, Dylan, Oliver and Nathan. We learned about tools and health and safety”

“Our group is called council cleaners. Our group is based in Newton grange at Ruts. We learned about Path Problems, Surveying a path and did some Icebreakers”

“We went up to see the path we will be fixing then done a survey. We also took measurements and figured out what needs done to fix the path. We came back to Ruts and done a drawing of the path. We done booklet work then had our book. We got shown a video about Path Skillz. We worked out how much it will cost to get everything we will need for our path. “
