The first practical training session completed by the young people from the Zone was at one of their local paths known as Jubilee Path.
The first task that was completed was at a set of steps. Some of the original material had been washed out leaving a lip on the tread which was a potential trip hazard.
A combination of this and vegetation growing around the steps meant that a lot of users had been avoiding using them all together.
Other parts of the route had become very narrow due to vegetation growing in from both sides.
Vegetation was scraped off the surface widening the path to its original width. People are now able to walk along here side by side again.
